Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and other browsers will warn a customer if they try to submit information over an insecure link. These browsers as well as other popular web site browsers notify you when entering personal information if the link is secure.

In Microsoft IE, A padlock icon appears at the bottom of the browser window or in later versions a new Security Status icon appears next to the Address Bar whenever we visit a secure site . This confirms that the link and the information you are submitting is secure.

In Mozilla Firefox, a padlock will appear in the lower right hand corner of the browser window. When you see this padlock, it confirms that the link as well as the information you are submitting is secure.

In reality, purchasing goods over the Internet using a secure server is extremely safe. It is very unlikely that anyone can obtain your details whilst using a secure transmission.
